Jessica Ford, M.S.W., RSW, received her clinical social work training in family systems at the University of Chicago,
earned a post-graduate designation in marriage and family therapy and is completing training for sex therapy (http://www.bestco.info/therapistlocator.php).
For over twenty years she has worked with individuals, couples, and families of diverse backgrounds in communities and clinical
settings. Her expertise includes working with individuals, couples and families who face neurological impairments due to a brain
injury, stroke or progressive illness. This includes individuals with various communicative disorders such as aphasia.

In addition to being a relationship therapist, Jessica presents on such topics as What is Psychotherapy? and
PTSD / Secondary PTSD & the Family to various inservice training groups. She facilitates workshops and seminars for couples on
attachment issues and techinques for rekindling romance. For individuals she has developed managing depression and
self-esteem building programs.
Her therapeutic approach is interactive and experiential. She provides support and practical feedback to help clients effectively
address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized
approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their
strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
